Compass
In seeking to understand how the world works,
certain standards of judgment and a posture for navigation gradually come into view.
What follows is about the direction that naturally emerged from the structures observed so far.
What is presented here is a compass for moving forward without losing one’s way—
a principle of navigation.

Ⅰ World — Premise and Existence
Ⅱ Structure — Time and Manifestation
Ⅲ Standard — The Axis of Judgment
Ⅳ Course — Direction and Way of Walking
I. World — Premise and Existence
1.
Mystery is a temporary name for what is not yet understood, while science is a description of what can currently be understood.
Science is not omnipotent.
It is a system that describes what can presently be measured.
There are still domains in the world that have not yet been measured.
To deny them immediately, or to mystify them too easily, both move away from the essence.
2.
The natural flow is growth.
Living beings continue through the process of change called growth.
Even phases that appear to be stagnation or regression are part of that flow.
When one resists the flow, growth slows. To resist means to cling to assumptions or conventions.
3.
Human growth is a path toward omniscience and omnipotence.
The end of inner growth is knowledge, and the end of outer growth is capacity.
Growth contains two aspects:
the deepening of understanding (knowledge) and the ability to act upon reality (capacity).
These are not destinations, but directions toward which human beings move.
II. Structure — Time and Manifestation
1.
Visibility always arrives late.
What we see is merely the stage at which changes that were already progressing become visible.
Things move forward beneath the surface before they are recognized.
2.
Nothing happens suddenly.
Changes that appear sudden are the result of countless small accumulations.
Choices and habits that seem insignificant eventually cross a threshold and become visible.
Manifestation is not the beginning. It is the stage at which accumulation surfaces.
3.
Everything has its timing.
There is a reason for the time when events occur, and a reason for the time when we come to understand them.
All events are connected within a larger flow.
Within the movement toward results, each event is placed in its position.
III. Standard — The Axis of Judgment
1.
At its deepest level, the essence of things and factual truth are one.
When the essence is lost, judgment easily becomes distorted.
One must be prepared to accept truth in any form in order to discern the essence.
2.
Do not entrust the answer to others.
If one imitates values that society considers correct, recognition may be obtained.
Yet even if the surface is satisfied, the inner emptiness remains. Use your own sense as the standard.
3.
The idea of “how things should be” fixes the range of choices.
When that assumption is removed, a space of possibility appears.
New paths emerge from that space. Allow yourself possibility.
4.
Cultivate your own sense.
When choosing something, ask whether it truly brings you joy.
Is it because it feels right for you, or because you simply like the version of yourself that receives approval?
If you continue choosing through the eyes of others, your own sense gradually becomes dull.
IV. Course — Direction and Way of Walking
1.
Interest is the key to one’s essence.
There is a reason behind what strongly attracts a person.
It is not accidental curiosity. It is connected to aptitude and direction.
By following your interests, the direction you should move toward becomes visible.
2.
If a direction is connected to one’s essence, the person is already in motion.
When the will becomes conscious, unconscious actions have often already begun shaping that path.
If someone only speaks of ideals while actions do not follow, that direction may not align with their essence.
The sprouts of the natural flow are difficult to see, but they certainly exist.
3.
Small daily choices eventually change the trajectory.
The future is not formed by single major decisions, but by the accumulation of small differences.
Whatever one aims for, it begins with revising everyday habits.
4.
For those who live in accordance with their deeper sense,
the necessary experiences will occur. They are not always gentle.
At times they may involve pain or loss. Yet for those who live without betraying themselves, pain and loss inevitably function as growth.
For those who continue to ignore themselves, the same events may become nothing more than destruction.
NEW GATE
Beyond.
It will open when the time comes.
